\o/ Inuyasha the Final Act!!! Saw it!

Wow, I need to rewatch the first series XD This ep went right in and started where they left off (not counting the fillers).. and went quite fast, not wasting a moment to recap or anything. I vaguely remember stuff. At least I remember all the characters, though some of Naraku's newer spawns I forgotten their backstories XD I did read the manga after the anime ended a bit, but it's been years and I only remember vague things and certain chapters (I am looking forward to seeing some chapters getting animated, like Kagura's arc, Kikyou's arc, Sesshoumaru's arc )

I really want to draw Inuyasha group pic to celebrate, but can't seem to find time... or rather, the motivation... I need to do more school work, before I fail my midterms ;__; I haven't been paying attention in 2 of my classes, so I need to read notes and understand... ahhhhhhhh!!! But PSO is so tempting.... FOnewearl at level 78 now, 2 more levels until ultimate!!

Looking forward to Kobato! The latest FMA Brotherhood ep has rather disturbing images..... >__<

Oh yeah, my figures from jukebox_hero arrived. Now I have Setsuna and Lockon, as well as the Lockon PPP with Haro <3333 And Miku Nendoroid <33 (I need the Yuki Nendoroid >__< )

I'm getting a shelf in two weeks, which means I'll have place to put my origami stuff and my Gunpla and figures!!

OMG NEW INUYASHA SERIES OCT 2009!!!!!!!!!

Hurray!!!! Inuyasha was like my first real anime obsession (well, there was Sailor Moon when I was 10, and Cardcaptor Sakura when I was 12... but this really lead me into Otaku-dom), and I'm so happy the rest of the series is getting animated after 5 years!!!

Also in the Fall lineup I need to see, is Kobato.

Watched FMA Brotherhood last night, and saw Ling Yao. His voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't figure out exactly where.. so I looked it up on ANN today, and saw "Mamoru Miyano as Ling Yao" LOL!! So that's why it's so familiar! I'm also rewatching Ouran right now, so I must've picked up the Tamaki-voice (aka the "Choriiisu" voice) in Ling Yao XD

Ahhh why isn't the day over yet... I have a 2-week (unpaid, but meh) vacation starting next week.. and I really need it 'cause I think I'm getting sick, and would really like to be able to sleep all day...

Rightstuf is having a Bandai sale again. Gundam 00 part 2 special edition for $26.99 (since I also have a discount card thing), I'm tempted....... Maybe I should get the regular edition this time... but it costs $21.59, which is only $5.40 cheaper than the SE which comes with the OOF manga..

But to get free shipping, I need to spend $150 or more. It's not hard to find stuff to get there, but I already spent a lot of money already... besides, they don't take Paypal, so I'd have to ask mom to use her credit card (I'd pay her back of course, but I'd have to you know, tell her about it and explain it... ^^;; )

And Gundam SEED movies in the Bargin Bin for $5 each. Also tempted. I don't particularly like the movies since they cut a whole bunch of stuff out, but I also kinda want it 'cause the art is all nice and prettified and shiny, and for completion's sake...

And it's not fair, 8 eps of Gundam 00 (well, special edition) is the same price as complete set of many 26ep series like Planetes and Witch Hunter Robin........

Okay, so this entry is about Anime North last weekend. I was so exhausted when I got back, and have been busy the for past few days, so didn't get a chance to write this up until now...

Well, more like a list of anime series I've watched recently and things to continue and things I want to check out...

• Basquash
  saw the first ep, it was as ridiculous as I thought it'd be, and some more. Mecha playing basketball?? yeah. Not to mention the mecha are more like cars with arms and legs than traditional humanoid mecha. Not sure if want to continue. The art is nice though, if not a bit dizzying


• K-On
  reminds me of Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, esp the characters in the first ep. Mio is Kyon, aka the voice of reason, and Ritsu is an AU Haruhi, being overdramatic and exaggerate things, and being forceful. Not to mention she has the hairband XD Yui is like Mikuru, being so ditzy and all. I suppose Tsumugi is like Koizumi. No Yuki equivalent though, boo, 'cause Yuki is awesome.
  
  Definitely continuing. After the 2nd ep though, it reminded me of Strawberry Marshmallow (Ichigo Mashimaro) though XD It's the characters. Mio is Chika, the straight, "normal" one; Ritsu is Miu, the genki girl with too much energy, though Ritsu is nowhere as weird as Mui XD; Tsumugi is Ana, the polite, high-class girl; and Yui is Matsuri, the ditzy clumsy one who's always daydreaming. Hmm... crossover ideas...


• FMA Brotherhood
  interesting remake. dunno why they had to do it, but it's nice that they're adapting closer to the manga story, so I've heard. Will continue with it


• Gurren Lagaan
  yes, I'm finally starting to watch it. and it is as over-the-top as I've heard it to be. will finish it eventually


• Powerpuff Girls Z
  adaptation of the American PPG cartoon, 'cept it's made into a more magic-girl thing (including transformation and all that XD), with a sort of continuing plot. I'm gonna be cosplaying as Buttercup btw, if anyone's going to Anime North this year, you might see me XD I'm pretty much finished this, the final eps are awesomeness =D

  still working on it, 7 eps from the end..


• Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae
  almost done, on ep 22 now... need to find subs for the rest... >_<
